This is the family farm. My husband and I have been blessed to be the caretakers. My family bought the farm in the 1960s and in 1976 my father found the cabin in a neighboring community, bought it, tore it down, numbered each one of the logs and put it back together piece by piece where it stands today. Each log has his touch and his heart in it and I am sure his hands had a few splinters to match.

I played on this farm as a child, picked strawberries to sell to friends, laid tobacco sticks for my brothers to stalk rows of tobacco, rode our horses, fed our cows, and made castles in the hay loft with bales of hay. Even though it is not a working farm today, we hope it brings you back a simpler time in life.
A 100 year old barn can be explored. A log cabin with a dog trot and other log structures are within a short walk. Bring your ATV (with a signed waiver)! We have several dry pond beds to have fun in and around. But for the evenings, gather around the fire pit and enjoy the night sky. The moon and stars are truly beautiful away from the city lights.
You will find several destinations in the area that are unique to Rogersville, the second oldest town in Tennessee. The longest running Inn, Hale Springs Inn, is located downtown. Pressman's home is a modern day ghost town and is just a few miles down the road. Kyle's Ford is great for a canoe trip. Fishing your thing? We have Cherokee lake, the Holston and Clinch River.

The entire family loved this home and property. So historic, but with upgraded amenities. A firepit with a great view, hiking with a better view and visiting nearby local spots were highlights. We ate in most meals - the grill is great and kitchen too. The beds are very comfortable - we slept great. The family was talking of making a return trip before the weekend was ever over! Laura was great to work with as well. This place is a true gem!
